2-1/2 c. cold cut-up butter
1-1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 t. baking soda
2 t. salt
2 t. vanilla
2 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. nutmeg
1/2 scant t. mace
3 c. flour
1/2 (2#-10oz. can) Quaker Oats (almost 4 c.)
2 c. raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugars. Add eggs and mix well. Then incorporate the soda, salt, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, mace and flour. Mix in oats and raisins without overmixing!
Scoop onto baking sheet size of golf ball spaced about 2 inches apart and bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes or until done.
