"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Sift dry ingredients together in a medium mixing bowl. Beat eggs, then add eggs, milk and vegetable oil. Stir lightly until there are no lumps. Bake in a hot waffle iron until done. Makes about 7-8 waffles.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Your can substitute whole wheat flour with whole wheat pastry flour or use a combination of the two. The pastry flour makes a lighter waffle. I also, on occasion, use rice milk when I have family or quests who are lactose intolerant. One final note: I love my deep pocket Belgian Waffle Cuisinart!
