1 lb. butter
1 lb. sugar (2 c.)
1 lb. flour (4 c.)
3 eggs
flavoring 1 t. (heaping)

Directions:
Let butter sit out for awhile. Blend butter with flour. Add eggs one at a time until blended. Add vanilla, almond, or lemon extract. Roll, wrap with waxed paper, refrigerate several hours or overnight. Slice and bake 350º oven for 10 - 12 minutes.
