6 Swiss steaks
1 large onion
1 lb. mushroom caps
3 Tbsp oil
2 tsp garlic salt
Dash of pepper
2 jars dark brown beef gravy
1 c marsala cooking wine

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle swiss steaks with garlic salt. Let marinade for ½ hour. Brown steaks in oil until the pan has a good base of browning’s on the bottom. Remove the steaks from pan. Add the marsala wine and scrape the meat browning’s from the base of the pan. Add the gravy and blend well. Simmer the gravy for 3 minutes in pan. Transfer the steak to a baking dish and cover with onions and mushrooms. Pour the gravy mixture over the steak, mushrooms and onions. Bake at 325º F for 1 hour. Serve with garlic mashed potatoes, corn and a lovely dinner roll!
