Ingredients:  
1 lb. ground beef
¼ cup fine dry breadcrumbs
¼ cup finely chopped onion
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 Tbs. shortening or vegetable oil
1 can golden mushroom soup
½ cup drained diced tomatoes or 8 oz can tomato sauce
2 Tbs. vinegar
2 Tbs. brown sugar
2 Tbs. soy sauce
dash of pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Mix beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, and garlic salt and shape into balls. In skillet, brown meatballs in oil. Pour out excess oil and add soup, tomatoes, vinegar, brown sugar, soy sauce and pepper. Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over either white or brown rice. Serves 4.
