1 PACKAGE PHYLLO DOUGH ( FOUND IN FROZEN FOODS DEPT. BY PASTY SHELLS)
4 LARGE CHICKEN BREASTS FLATTENED TILL EVEN THROUGHOUT
1 CARROT CUT 2 IN. LONG AND 1/4 IN. THICK
1 STALK CELERY CUT 2 IN, LONG AND 1 IN. THICK.
1 ONION SLICED 1/4 THICK AND 2 IN. LONG
1 FRESH LEMON.
GROUND GINGER
FRESHLY GROUND PEPPER
4 TBS. UNSALTED BUTTER
DRIED GARLIC POWDER

BASIL CREAM GARLIC SAUCE:
1/4 C. UNSALTED BUTTER
1/2 TSP. DRIED BASIL LEAVES
1 TSP. GARLIC POWDER
2 TBS. FLOUR
1/2 C. CHICKEN STOCK
1 C. HALF AND HALF OR WHOLE MILK
FRESHLY GROUND PEPPER AND SALT TO TASTE

THAW PHYLLO DOUGH ACCORDING TO PACKAGE DIRECTIONS AND KEEP UNDER TOWEL WHILE WORKING WITH SINGLE SHEETS. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES.
SQUEEZE LEMON UNTIL JUICE IS EVENLY DISTRIBUTED OVER EACH CHICKEN BREAST AVOIDING LEMON PITS AS YOU GO. SPRINKLE EACH BREAST WITH GROUND GINGER, FRESH GROUND BLACK PEPPER, AND GARLIC POWDER. PLACE 1 PIECE EACH OF SLICED CARROT, CELERY, AND ONION ONTO TOP 1/4 OF CHICKEN BREAST AND FOLD OVER TO COVER.
PLACE 1 SHEET OF PHYLLO DOUGH ON SURFACE AND BRUSH MELTED BUTTER TILL COVERED EVENLY. PLACE 1 CHICKEN BREAST ONTO TOP OF PHYLLO DOUGH AND CAREFULLY ROLL DOWNWARD AND PLACE SEAM SIDE DOWN ON BUTTERED 6" x 8" CASSEROLE DISH. REPEAT WITH OTHER 3 CHICKEN BREASTS.
COOK IN 350 DEGREE OVEN FOR 45 MIN. TO 1 HOUR.
WHILE THE CHICKEN IS COOKING MAKE THE BASIL CREAM GARLIC SAUCE BY MELTING THE BUTTER AND ADDING THE BASIL, GARLIC, AND FLOUR UNTIL BUBBLY. ADD CHICKEN STOCK TILL BUBBLY AGAIN. ADD HALF AND HALF OR WHOLE MILK UNTIL THICKENED.
WHEN CHICKEN IS DONE AND PHYLLO DOUGH IS GOLDEN BROWN.
PLACE 1 CHICKEN BREAST ON EACH PLATE AND LADLE SOME BASIL CREAM GARLIC SAUCE OVER TOP AND SERVE WITH RICE AND MIXED VEGETABLES...
