8 c flour
1 cake yeast dissolved in 1/2 c lukewarm water
2 T sugar
2/3 c lard
2/3 c sugar
2 1/2 tsp salt
2 c boiling water
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Combine lard, sugar, salt in bowl. Add boiling water. Let stand until cool, but not cold. Add well beaten eggs and dissolved yeast. Add flour to mix thoroughly, then add the rest to make a soft dough. You might not need all 8 cups. When dough is formed, grease a large bowl and place dough inside. Let rise for about 2 hours, then kneed and put back into bowl with tight cover. The next day about 4 hours before you want to use it, make into rolls. Bake like biscuits. Before putting in oven put melted butter on top. Bake until nearly brown, 12-15 minutes.
