2 c flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
1 egg
1 ½ c milk
3 tbsp melted butter or margarine

Directions:
Combine dry ingredients. Beat egg, add milk. Mix with dry ingredients until blended. Blend in melted butter. Drop by spoonfuls onto hot griddle, turning only once to brown both sides. Serve.
