3 1/2 c. flour
3 1/2 t. baking powder
1 1/2 c. raisins
1 3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 c. milk
2 eggs
2 t. nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Sift flour with baking powder and nutmeg. Add eggs to creamed sugar and butter and beat well. Add milk alternately with flour mixture. Beat well after each addition. Either use baking raisins or mix raisins with flour to lightly coat. Bake in 10 in. tube pan at 350º for 1 to 1 1/4 hours or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
