2 T plus 3 T butter
1 lb macaroni noodles
3 T flour
3 cups milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded jack cheese
2 T salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cook macaroni noodles according to package directions. Drain, rinse, and set aside.

In a large pot, melt 3 T butter over low heat. Add the flour and stir until you have a bubbling golden paste. Slowly stir in the milk and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add 1/2 cup cheddar, 1 cup jack cheese, and salt. carefully stir until the cheese is melted. Pour drained macaroni noodles into the cheese mixture and stir until the noodles are completely coated. Pour noodle mixture into a casserole dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheddar cheese and bake for 20-25 minutes until macaroni is bubbling and top is golden brown.
