1 C white rice (put rice in bowl, cover with water and
soak over night
1 plump chicken
5 stocks Chopped celery
¼ small onion shredded
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp marjoram
½ tsp thyme
½ cube butter
3 Shredded carrots
2 cans chicken broth

Directions:
Directions:
1 plump boiler chicken washed inside and out with salt and rinsed well. Place in soup pot and cover with water. Add celery, onion, spices and ½ cube margarine. Bring to a boil and simmer until chicken is done. 30-45 minutes. Use slotted spoon and take chicken out of pot. Let cool slightly. Remove skin and shred the chicken off the bones; into the soup pot.
Drain rice and add to soup pot; then add shredded carrots and cook for about 10 minutes. Add butter balls (found in miscellaneous section) and cook another 5 minutes.
