2 c finely chopped suet
4 lbs beef ground
5 qts apples cut in quarters
2 lbs dark seedless raisins
1 lb white seedless raisins
2 qts apple cider
2 tbsp cinnamon
2 tbsp nutmeg
5 c sugar
2 tbsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cook meat & suet in water to avoid browning. Put meat, suet & quartered apples, through food grinder or chop. Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan & simmer for 1 hr until slightly thickened. Stir often to keep from sticking. Fill about 7 quart jars to within 1" head-space. Process 40 minutes in boiling water.
