¾ c. brown sugar
¼ c. butter
1 c. halved pecans or walnuts
1 yellow cake mix
Eggs for cake mix
Shredded rind from 1 orange

Directions:
Directions:
Melt brown sugar and butter in bottom of a 14” Dutch oven. Place the pecans or walnuts and the shredded orange rind in the brown sugar mixture. In a separate container, prepare the cake mix according to the instructions on the package. Pour the batter over the brown sugar and nut mixture. Place oven on a medium-hot bed of coals. Add a shovelful of coals to top of oven and cook for approximately 15 minutes. Remove oven from the coals and continue cooking with coals on top for approximately 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
