1 cup sugar
1 1/2 t baking powder
1/2 t salt

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour with sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Cut in butter and margarine, using an electric blender or pastry blender, until particles are fine. Add egg, cream, and vanilla extract. Blend thoroughly. Chill for at least a few hours or overnight. Roll dough out on a floured surface (the dough can be very sticky and you need to knead it in your hands before rolling it out). Roll to 1/8 inch thickness. Cut in desired shapes. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 400 for 5-8 minutes (DO NOT overbake!).
For frosting: Mix powdered sugar and half and half until desired consistency is reached (start with powdered sugar and slowly add half and half in small amounts). Add food coloring and stir. Frost cookies and sprinkle with sprinkles!
