1 C. cake flour
3/4 C. and 2 Tbsp. sugar
12 egg whites
1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 C. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°. Sift flour and sugar. Beat egg whites, cream of tartar, and salt until foamy. Add 2nd amount of sugar 2 Tbsp. at a time, beating on high until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in vanilla and extract. Fold flour-sugar mixture until it disappears 1/4 C. at a time. Push batter into an ungreased angel food cake pan. Bake 30-35 minutes. Cool upside down on a wine bottle.
