2 c. flour,
2 c. sugar,

1 c. margarine,
1/2 c. crisco oil,
1 c. water,
3 1/2 T. cocoa,

2 eggs,
1/2 t. salt,
1 t. vanilla,
1/2 c buttermilk,
1 t. soda

Frosting
1/2 stick margarine,
3 T. cocoa,
6 T. milk,
Powdered sugar,
Vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
In a sauce pan, boil margarine, crisco oil, water, and cocoa.
Pour the mixture from pan into the flour, sugar, stir well. Add eggs, salt, vanilla.
In separate dish mix 1/2 c. buttermilk and 1 t. soda.
Mix with all the other ingredients.
Pour into well greased and floured 15 12 11 pan.
Bake at 375º for 15-20 minutes.

While the cake cools a little, boil margarine, cocoa, milk and then add powdered sugar and vanilla. Takes about 2 c. powdered sugar.

This recipe came from Wilda Willis to Grandma Chilberg (Donna). Wilda Willis and Grandma taught school together in Billings, Montana for many years.
