2 pkgs. dry yeast
1/2 c. very warm water (110-115degrees)
11/2 c. lukewarm milk, scalded then cooled
2 T. sugar
11/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs1/4 c. shortening
51/2 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
In mixing bowl dissolve yeast in very warm water. Stir in remaining ingredients. Beat until smooth (about 100 strokes). Cover and let rise for 1 hour. Beat down and pour into greased 10" tube pan. Let rise to within 1" of top of pan, 45 min. Heat oven to 350º. bake 45-50 min. Serve hot.
