Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 boxes Nilla Wafers by Nabisco
1 can Eagle Brand Condensed Milk
1 pint whipping cream
pecan halves
pecan pieces
maraschino cherries
a 9x9 or 6x9 casserole dish

Directions:
Directions:
Submerge the can of Eagle Brand Milk in water in a large pot and boil for 3 hours (NOT a typo). The milk inside the can will carmelize. Remove can from water, open and remove contents to bowl to cool. When cool, whip with a fork to remove any lumps. Whip the whipping cream to stiff peaks. Fold carmelized milk into the whipped cream. Cover the bottom of pan with thin layer of whipped cream mixture (approx 1/8 inch). Cover with 1 layer of cookies. Cover cookies with whipped cream mixture - be generous as the cookies need to absorb moisture from the whipped cream. Cover with chopped pecans. Add another layer of cookies, cream mixture, pecans until pan is full, finishing with whipping cream mixture.(May have a little whipping cream mixture left; I usually am able to get 4 layers, sometimes 5). Decorate top with whole pecans and halved Maraschino cherries. Cover and refrigerate for 3 days.
