6 pork chops – 1 inch thick
1 package of Stove Top Stuffing pork flavor (6 oz)
1 egg
1 2/3 c. water
¼ c. butter
1 can cream of mushroom soup (10 ¾ oz)
1 can cream of celery soup (10 ¾ oz)
2 c. milk
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp. pepper
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 tsp. sage

Have your butcher cut a pocket slit in each pork chop. Prepare stuffing mix as directed on the package using the water and butter. When the stuffing is prepared let it cool for a few minutes. Combine in a separate bowl Cream of Mushroom Soup, Cream of celery Soup, milk, salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, and sage. Prepare pork chops to insert the stuffing mix. After the stuffing mix has started to cool, add 1 egg and mix thoroughly. Stuff each pork chop with stuffing. Pour a cup of the soup mixture in the bottom of the 14” Dutch oven, then place each pork chop in the bottom of the oven. Pour the remaining soup mixture over the pork chops. Cover and place 10 coals on the bottom of the oven and 18 coals on the lid. Cook for 2 hours, change the coals after about 50 to 60 minutes.
