Ingredients:
Boil the following ingredients. Be very careful when you get started as it will boil over until you get it started:

3 cups sugar
1 cup white Karo
1 cup water

Grease 3 dinner plates with butter so that the entire plate is covered with butter. While the sugar mixture continues to boil, do this:

3 egg whites + 2 Tbsp sugar need to be beaten until stiff peaks form.

Directions:
Directions:
The first mixture of sugar + Karo + water is done when you test its consistency in a glass of cold water. Drop a small amount into the cold water and when you can hear it snap it is ready. It needs to be very brittle. Using a beater pour for Plain (for peanut butter do Not cook as long) into egg whites and add 3 heaping Tbsp. of peanut butter, one at a time while mixing. When it sets-up, spoon 3 eggs to a plate. When they cool a little, butter your hands and shape into eggs. Refrigerate.

Later:

I use Hershey Bars to melt with a little canning wax. Butter cookie sheet to put dipped eggs on and refrigerate until they set. Makes about 9 eggs.
