1 /2 C. butter (1 stick) softened
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp rosemary, crushed
1/4 tsp. marjoram
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. celery seed (optional)
garlic to taste
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter with herbs. Spread on sliced French bread. Wrap in foil and heat in oven till heated through. Especially good with steak.

My grandpa always called this dirty bread because it looks like you wiped the floor with it.
