1/2 C. warm water
2 pkg. yeast
4 C. warm water
1/2 C. sugar
1/2 C. lard
5 tsp. salt
6 1/2 to 7 C. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in 1/2 C. warm water. In a large mixing bowl, mix 4 C. water, 1/2 C. sugar and lard. Add salt and 3 C. flour, Stir. Add dissolved yeast. Add enough flour to make soft dough, about 6 1/2 to 7 C. more. Set in warm place to rise. Knead down; let rise again. Then make 3 or 4 small loaves or 2 dozen finger rolls and a pan of cinnamon rolls. Bake @ 375º for 15 to 20 minutes.
