Ingredients:  
1 pkg. yeast(dissolved in 1 C. warm water)
2 C. warm water
1/2 C. sugar
1/2 C. shortening
2 tsp. salt
2 eggs (if you want yellow dough)
Flour, enough to make soft dough,approx. 6 C.

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add remaining ingredients. Let rise until light. Roll out in square or oblong shape. Cut into pieces about 5 x 2 1/2 inches. Let rise a little while and put the side up that is down in deep hot grease. Remove when golden brown. Drain on paper toweling. Frost while warm or roll in cinnamon and sugar.
