2 c all purpose flour
1 c sugar
1/2 c cocoa
2 tsp soda
1 c boiling water
1 tsp vanilla
1 c mayonnaise

Directions:
Grease and flour cake pan.
Sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa, and soda. Mix this with the rest of the ingredients, and bake at 350º for 30 min.

I've also used cake flour for this and its ok not to sift the dry ingredients.
