4 1/2 to 5 cup flour
1 package dry yeast
1 cup warm milk
1 cup warm water
1/4 cup melted shortening
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 Tbls. chopped parsley
1 tsp. dill weed
1 tsp. tarragon
2 tsp. chopped onion

Directions:
Directions:
Put warm milk and water in mixing bowl, add yeast and sugar, dissolve. Add melted shortening and 2 1/2 cups flour stir well. Add salt and 2 more cups flour. Stir until mixed. Turn out on board and knead 5 minutes. Spread out dough - sprinkle herbs, continue kneading until mixed. Place in greased bowl, cover and let rise until double.
Grease generously 2 flower pots (5 - 5 inch in diameter, 3 inch high pots) Bake in 365º for 35 minutes. Remove immediately, let cool.
Place cooled loaf back in flower pot for presentation or gift.
