1 whole chicken
2 tsp vegetable/olive oil
1 cup sliced carrots
1 cup chopped onions
1 cup sliced celery
3/4 cup corn
3/4 cup peas
10 - 12 cups water
3/4 cup uncooked fettuccine noodles or egg noodles
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp dried thyme leaves - crushed or ground
2 Tbsp Special Blend - Olde Westport (www.oldewestportspice.com Garden Harvest Special Blend) **
2 Tbsp Orrington Farms - Chicken Flavored Soup base & seasoning (Like really good chicken bouillon)
1 cup half & half or cream (optional)

Directions:
Put oil in a 6-8 quart pan and head over medium heat. Add onions, celery, and carrots and cook a few minutes. Add whole chicken, water, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Remove chicken and set aside. Skim fat from
broth. Bring to boil again and add peas, corn, quartered fettucini noodles, and thyme. Boil uncovered for 8-10 minutes or until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally. Remove chicken from bones and cut into bite sized pieces. To the boiling broth, add chicken,
Special Blend spices, and Orrington farms soup base. Add optional cream. Stir and taste.
Add more salt if needed.

** Special Blend spice seasonings has changed. They added WAY to much pepper chunks
to it. You can use a noodle strainer to filter the package a little bit at a time and remove the
dark pepper chunks. You want to remove about 90%-95% of the large, dark pepper pieces.
