2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. milk, divided
1 1 /2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
Directions:
Directions:
MIx flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Combine with shortening, one-half cup milk and vanilla. Beat for two minutes. Add remaining one-half cup of milk and eggs. Beat again until batter is uniform. Spread into a greased and floured 13" x 9" baking dish or sheet cake pan. Bake 18-20 minutes at 350º
