Directions:
Cut halibut in small square pieces (dry with paper towels if it has been frozen). Mix mayo and onions (and garlic), and mix in a little (maybe ½ cup or so to taste) of the grated cheddar to the mayo and onion mixture. (Be sure this is moist enough, if not add a little more mayo.) Mix this with fish and spread into a baking dish. Sprinkle rest of cheese on top. Cover with foil. Bake in oven 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake 5 minutes more or until cheese is melted.
