Thumbprint cookies Recipe

Ingredients:  
1 1/2 sticks margarine
1/3 c sugar
2 t vanilla
2 c shifted all purpose flour
your favorite flavor of jelly/jam

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine and sugar. Add vanilla and flour. Roll into 1-inch diameter balls. Press with thumb to flatten in middle. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375 for about 10 minutes until edges are slightly browned. Remove from oven and cool on rack.

Spoon a dab of jelly/jam into the center of each cookie while cookie is still slightly warm.
