Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
1 (14 oz.) can jellied cranberry sauce
1 medium can of tomato sauce
¾ cup water
1 tsp. chili powder or cayenne pepper
(I use 1-2 Tbsps. dry mustard instead)
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
1/3 cup bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, melt cranberry sauce with tomato sauce and water. After mixture has melted, add soy sauce and salt; stir.

Directions (meatballs):
Mix the meat, egg, and onion together.
Add the bread crumbs and chili powder/cayenne pepper or dry mustard, parsley and garlic powder to the meat mixture; combine well.
Shape into meatballs, add to sauce, cook over medium-low heat approx. 1 hour.

This recipe makes around 24 meatballs. The ingredients can easily be multiplied for gatherings by first cooking the meatballs & draining the fat, and then throwing everything into the crock pot on low for a few hours.
