2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) butter, cut into pieces
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup grated extra sharp cheddar cheese
3 eggs, beaten
¾ to 1 cup of sour cream
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can condensed cheddar cheese soup
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup whole milk or ¾ cup evaporated milk
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon black pepper or to taste

Set ½ cup grated cheese mixture aside. Boil the macaroni in a 2-quart saucepan until al dente. Drain. Pour macaroni into crock pot. In separate bowl beat eggs; set to side. Mix all ingredients into crock pot; pour eggs over mixture. Mix well. Cook on low for 3 hours stirring occasionally. When ready to serve, garnish with leftover cheese mixture.
