Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 c. butter
5 tsp. water
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. toasted almonds, or any chopped nuts
8-10 oz milk or semi sweet chocolate

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, mix the butter, water, sugar, and boil and stir continuously until deep golden brown and looks like its starting to burn and smoke. The candy will leave the side of the pan as you stir it. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour on a wax lined or buttered cookie sheet, shaking it to spread it out thin. Put the chocolate on the top as the heat will cause it the melt. Spread it over the entire surface and then sprinkle chopped nuts on top. Allow it to cool then break into pieces.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Mom taught me how to make this and divinity when I was in 5th grade, at Christmastime.
