4 Quarts Sliced Squash
8 Medium Onions (diced)
1/4 Cup Salt
5 Cups White Sugar
1 1/2 tbps. Celery Seed
1 tbsp. turmeric
3 Cups Vinegar
1 tbsp. Mustard Seed

Directions:
Directions:
Slice onions and squash. Add salt and stir real good. cover with crushed ice. Let stand 3 hours, then drain. Combine 5 cups sugar, 1 1/2 tbsp. celery seed, 1 tbsp. turmeric, 3 cups white vinegar and 1 tbsp. mustard seeds and boil. Add squash and onion, boil 1 minute. Pack into sterilized jars and seal.
