3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon
1/4 c. sunflower seeds
1/4 c. margarine
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. rolled oats
1 1/2 grated apples, unpeeled
1/4 c. raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 6 ingredients. Cream margarine and sugar. Add egg and mix well. Add flour mixture, then oats, apples and raisins. Drop by teaspoons onto cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes at 350º.

These cookies are delicious. You can add ground flax, bran or other dried fruits if desired. Keep in mind that these cookies are moist. They do freeze well.
