Ingredients:  
Vinaigrette Dressing:
1/4 cup olive oil
2 Tbls Sugar
2 Tbls Raspberry Vinegar
1 Tbls Fresh Chopped Parsley
1/4 tsp Salt
1 Clove Crushed Garlic
Pepper to taste
5-6 Dashes Tabasco

Mix all ingredients together

Sugared Almonds:
2 Tbls Sugar
1/3 cup Slivered Almonds
Brown Almonds in Dry Frying Pan, Sprinkle w/ Sugar & allow sugar to caramelize - stir constantly, spread mixture on foil in single layer & allow to dry

Salad:
5 Cups mixed greens
Purple onion rings
11 oz can mandarin Oranges drained
1/2 cp dried cherries (or dried cranberries - easier to find)

Directions:

Mix all ingredient, toss w. almonds & vinaigrette.
