2 pounds new potatoes, preferably Creamer or Yukon Gold, cut in half
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 tablespoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon salt
Freshly ground black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
- Serves 4
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan.
- Put the potatoes in a medium mixing bowl.
- Pour the melted butter over the potatoes and toss gently to lightly coast all of the potatoes.
- Place the potatoes in a 9x13 inch casserole. Sprinkle the herbs and salt and pepper, to taste, over the potatoes.
- Bake on the center of rack of the oven for about 40 minutes, until they are just cooked through.
- Serve immediately
