2 sticks of butter
1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
2 c flour
1 1/2 c potato flakes (if using prepakaged...use one pack)
Directions:

Mix in order listed

Roll into small balls, then roll in sugar

Flatten on ungreased cookie sheet

spread far apart- these cookies really spread out when baked .

Bake 350º for 8-10 minutes
