4 pork loin pork chops (bone in)
3 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 small onion chopped
1/2 # fresh mushrooms
3/4 can sherry (NOT cream sherry)
4 cups cooked rice
1 garlic clove minced
2 TBL butter

Preheat oven 350º

Dredge the pork chops in seasoned flour...fry until just brown, set aside and cook the rice.
In a med sauce pan brown the onions in 2 TBL butter add the mushrooms and cook for 5 min add the4 soup then the sherry..mix well.
Put the rice in the bottom of a 9X12 sprayed baking dish place pour 1/2 of the sauce mixture over the rice top with the pork chops and finish with the sauce on top, cover with foil and bake 45 min..

I cook the rice aldente so it does not turn to mush when baking. The foil covering the dish keeps the meat moist and tender.
