1 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 3/4 boiling water

Directions:

Mix together 1 c. brown sugar, flour, 3 tbsp. cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk, butter and vanilla. Spray bottom and sides of crock pot with non-stick spray, and then spread this mixture over bottom of crock pot. Mix together: 3/4 c. brown sugar and 1/4 c. cocoa. Sprinkle over mixture in crock pot. Pour in boiling water. Do Not Stir! Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

This is Aunt Jolin's recipe and she says that she usually doubles this recipe since everyone loves it. It is very rich, so small servings are plenty.
