1 pound Pork - ground
1 small sweet onion - finely chopped
1 can Beef Broth
1 stalk celery - finely chopped
1 Carrot - finely chopped
1 Bay leaf
1 Baking potato - finely chopped
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
½ tsp. Salt

2 Pie Crusts
1 Egg yolk
1 tbsp. water

Directions:
Directions:
1. Brown beef and pork with onion and garlic in a large skillet. Drain and stir in celery, carrot, ½ of the can of beef broth and a bay leaf. Simmer for 10 minutes over medium heat; remove from heat and discard bay leaf.
2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Stir potato, salt, pepper, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and cream of mushroom soup into skillet mixture. Add more beef broth if it seems dry. Add more salt, pepper, and spices to taste.
3. Spoon mixture into deep dish pie shell. In a small bowl combine egg yolk and 1 tablespoon water to make egg wash; brush edge of crust with wash, then carefully add top crust and seal edges.
4. Make several slits in top crust; brush with remaining egg mixture. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until golden brown.

Personal Notes:
The first time I made this recipe I used an uncooked baking potato, but I recommend microwave the potato for a while to at least partially cook it. The bits of potato were almost crunchy.
