11/2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup light cream
1/3 cup milk
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Butter sides of heavy 2 qt. saucepan, and add ingredients. Stirring constantly. Using candy thermometer. Heat to 238º. Stir only if necessary. Cool to 110º without stirring. Add vanilla and beat until thick and loses gloss. Add nuts and spread in a buttered pan. Score while warm and cut when cool.
