1-1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
½ c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. milk
2 egg whites, well beaten
1-1/2 c. blueberries

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar.
Beat in egg yolks and vanilla.
Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk - 4 dry and 3 milk additions. Beat egg whites to “soft peak” stage. Fold into batter. Fold in blueberries that have been well-drained and dusted with flour. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 min. in 8-inch pan, square.
