½ c. butter
½ c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. molasses
2 c. flour, sifted
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 t. ground ginger
1 t. cinnamon
1 c. boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Beat in molasses.
Sift dry ingredients together and beat into batter until smooth. Add boiling water.
Bake for 30 min at 350º in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan.
Bake until firm to touch at center.
