Green peppers
Celery
Cauliflower
Cucumbers
Carrots
Pickling onions
alum
chili pepper's
vinegar
water
sugar
salt
garlic bud's

Directions:
Directions:
Quarter all vegetables and put in each quart jar with 1 garlic bud, add 1/8 chili pepper and 1 pinch of alum to each quart.

Hot solution to go over vegetables:
Mix together
1 qt. vinegar
1 gt. water
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. salt
Pour over each quart of vegetables.

Cool pack for 5 min. to seal. (this is enough syrup for 7 qts. if you double the recipe)
