2 boxes seeded raisins
5 lbs apples
1/2 lb beef suet
1 pt vinegar
1 pkg brown sugar
2 boxes currants
3 lbs lean beef
1 pkg Citron
1 pkg Orange peel
1 pkg Lemon peel
Cinnamon, Allspice, Cloves, Nutmeg to taste
Brandy (if desired)

Directions:
Directions:
Boil beef till tender. Save stock for juice. Grind apples, suet and meat through grinder, then cut the lemon, citron and orange in small pieces. Add all to beef stock in a big kettle with vinegar, sugar, spices, raisins and currants. Cook until apples are tender, then add brandy if desired.
