1 C sugar
1/2 C light Karo syrup
1 C raw unsalted peanuts
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp butter
1 tsp soda

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together sugar, corn syrup, and peanuts in a glass (Pyrex) bowl and cook for 4 minutes in microwave, stir. Cook another 4 minutes and stir in vanilla and butter. Cook for 1-3 minutes till peanuts turn golden brown and the mixture sizzles when stirred. Immediately add soda.
Stirring quickly, pour out onto buttered foil or cookie sheet and spread with a wooden spoon. It will be ready to break into pieces in about 15 minutes, when cool.
