4 cans french green beans (drained)
1 lb. bacon
12 tbsp. sugar
12 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
1 large onion sliced into rings
1 small pkg. slivered almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon strips until crispy. Remove bacon from skillet and crumble into small pieces. Set aside. Add sugar and vinegar to the bacon drippings while still warm. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Coat a 9 x 13 baking dish with cooking spray. Add layer of green beans, layer of bacon crumbles and layer of onion rings. Repeat. Pour bacon drippngs over mixture. Top with slivered almonds. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes.
