Base layer .1 1/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar. 3/4 c. creamy Peanut Butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 T. milk 1 T. vanilla
1 egg 1 3/4 c. all purpose flour
3/4 tsp baking soda & 3.4 tsp salt
Peanut Butter layer
1 1/2 c. confection sugar
2 T. Peanut butter
2 T.butter flavored Crisco shorting.
3 T. milk
Chocolate Glaze layer
2 Squares (1 oz.ea) semi-sweet Baking Chocolate.

Heat Oven to 350º. Grease 13x9 baking pan. Mix peanut butter,crisco,milk &vanilla in large bowl,
Combine flour,baking soda & salt, add to shortening mixture. Press into bottom of pan.bake for18-20 min.,do not overbake. cool completely on wire rack.prepare Peanut utter layer. Beat all ingredients together w/ elec. mixer until smooth spread over cooled base. Refrigerate for 30 min. for glaze place chocolate & crisco in micro safe bowl at 50% for 1-2 min. or until shiney & smooth, cool slightly and spread over PB layer - refrigerate at least 1 hr. cut into 3x1-1/3 bars. Let stand at room tem about 15 min before serving.
