2 c. flour
2 sticks oleo
1 c. water
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c buttermilk
1 tsp. maple flavoring
2 eggs

Frosting:
1 stick oleo
1 tbsp. milk
1/2 c. brown sugar
3 c. powder sugar
2 tsp. maple flavoring

Directions:
Cake: Mix all ingredients together and blend well. Bake at 350º on greased cookie sheet for 30 minutes. Let cool.

Frosting: Bring first 3 ingredients to a boil, then add powdered sugar and maple flavoring, stirring well. Spread on cake while frosting is still warm.
