2 Cups Self-Rising Flour
1 Cup Buttermilk
Oil for frying

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour and buttermilk; mix well. Knead flour on waxed paper, kneading in additional flour if needed. Let stand, covered, for 10 minutes. heat 1 inch of oil to 350 ºF in electric skillet. Pat small amounts of dough into 4x6 inch patties. Fry until golden brown on both sides, turning with tongs; do not use a fork. Drain on paper towel. Use to make Indian Tacos.
